Jill Pfister

Jill Pfister manages Global Impact’s Travel Abroad, Global Scholars, and Special Projects.  She came to Global Impact from OSU where she spent 35 years as an administrator in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES).  She received her B.S. in Agricultural Education from Ohio State University, M.S. in Agricultural Education from the University of Maryland and her Ph.D. in Agricultural Education/Teacher Education from OSU.  She has two adult sons, Tom and Jeff.  Tom is living in London, England and Jeff in Springboro, Ohio both with careers  in business.  Jill Pfister volunteers as a 4-H club adviser, secretary to the Clark County Goat Committee,  judges the Showman and Showman Contest at the Clark County Fair and is a member of Leadership Clark County, Curriculum Committee.  She has been awarded several leadership and service awards some of which include:  The Outstanding First Year Student Award granted annually in CFAES was named in her honor as the “Jill A. Pfister First Year Student Award” (2014), OSU’s Distinguished Staff Award (2006), Outstanding Service to students Award (1996, 2009, 2012), Mortar Board/Sphinx Recognition of Dedication to Students (2002, 2011, 2014), the Alpha Zeta L.H. Newcomb Leadership Award (2010) and Meritorious Service Award, Clark County 4-H Program (2007).
