Anna Shouvlin

Anna is GISA's Agricultural Communications teacher. She is originally from Springfield and has stayed local! She received her Bachelors in English from Wittenberg University, where she also minored in Education. Anna completed her student teaching at GISA back in 2020 which is when she fell in love with the school. She has been teaching 8th and 9th grade ELA for the last two years and is excited for this new position. She believes that English class can provide a wonderful opportunity for students to explore new ideas and learn more about themselves. She feels that all students can be successful and sometimes all it takes is someone who believes in them. In her free time Anna likes to hangout with loved ones, go on hikes, and read! She has also spent the last two years coaching track and field and has a strong passion for wellness!
